It was busy in the Ampco Flashlight studio in Utrecht in November where rehearsals for the Live38XXL show were held.
Evers slaat door escorted Dutch celebrities as the 3J's, Roel van Velzen, Paul de Leeuw, Guus Meeuwes, Erik Mesie (Toontje Lager), Martin Buitenhuis (Van Dik Hout), Marcel Kapteijn (Ten Sharp) and drummer Cesar Zuiderwijk.
The Live38XXL concert took place on 11, 12 and 13 November in the Jaarbeurs Utrecht where Ampco Flashlight provided lighting, sound and rigging. The Ampco Flashlight rehearsals crew consisted of Ronald Koster, Richard Procee and Remco Verhoek. The show was mixed on a pair of DiGiCo SD7 consoles, with FOH using the new SD boxes.

During the show they used 20x Shure PSM in-ears 1000 and 18x Shure UHF-R handhelds. The SD7 at FOH ran on the new SD DiGiCo rack at 96kHz.
The lighting rig featured a huge quantity of conventional fixtures, as well as large list of moving luminaires:

12x Clay Paky Alpha spot 1500 HPE
The set design also included two 8 square metre Element Labs Stealth LED screens. These lightweight 25 mm pixel pitch panels were fitted behind a decor wall in the shape of a guitar, the logo of Live38XXL, and showed a wide range of graphical images.
